We have the necessary skills and experience to manage the FSA authorisation process in full. However, where it is more cost effective we can assist with specific areas of the application, or simply provide advice where it is required.

We offer a full range of authorisation services including:

• Assessing whether the proposed entity will be conducting regulated activities
• Completing the FSA authorisation application pack
• Preparing the financial resources section including all the supporting schedules and regulatory capital calculations
• Providing all required compliance materials including the Compliance Manual and monitoring procedures
• Advising on the training and competence requirements of the individuals within the new business
• Review of the application prior to submission
• Assisting in any negotiations with the FSA that may arise during the authorisation process

Once authorisation is granted we provide an induction service that assists the new business to understand the ongoing requirements of record keeping, reporting and matters that require notification to the FSA.
